I would really like to make better use of my sewing machine (and by that I mean use it all) so I decided that I would try something simple to get back into the swing of it. I bought a shirt for Lily in the dollar spot at Target, and I had some fabric scraps to pair with it, so I decided to attempt adding a skirt to the shirt to make it a little dress. My stitching leaves much to be desired, but for something she'll wear a couple of times in the next two weeks, I think it turned out pretty cute. Next week I want to attempt a couple of cute skirts for her.
