I just wanted to write down a few things about Lily as a one year old before I forget.  No need to comment.

Activities:
Walking, walking, walking
POINTING. loves to point. Sometimes in an accusing way.  Can be slightly awkward when she does it to strangers.
Pushing things around the house.  The Paulsen's shopping cart (best borrowed toy yet), her new pink and purple push toy from Pam, any of our chairs.
Picking up and dropping her large bouncy ball.
Playing tug of war with Thimba.
I swear I'm not starting each line item with a P on purpose.
Loving touch and feel books.

Favorite Foods:
Blueberries, strawberries, bananas, melon, peaches, mango.
Avocado
Turkey lunch meat
Pasta with red sauce
BBQ Chicken
Waffles
Steel cut oats with yogurt
Tortillas

As you can see, there aren't any vegetables listed.  She only liked vegetables when we started solids and has since been refusing them save for a bite or two.

Disposition:
Crazy, sweet, silly.  She doesn't sit still...ever.  She loves all people and hasn't met a stranger.  She has never cried when I've dropped her off at MDO or church or anywhere that I can think of.  She isn't very needy for attention except when she's getting tired.  She'll come over to me and want up in my lap when she is getting sleepy.  She sleeps through the night most nights when she isn't sick or teething.  Every now and then I have to get up and pat her back to get her back down.  She sleeps from about 8:00 at night to 6:30-7:30 in the morning.  She takes two naps most days, unless she sleeps late.  She still likes to be worn in a sling or a wrap, especially when she's tired and we're out and about.  At times when she is mad she'll try to pinch me.  She went through a short little biting me on the shoulder faze but it has thankfully stopped now that her top teeth broke through, so I'm hoping it was the teething and not the devil in my child.

Words:
Mama (generally only said when she's tired)
Dada (usually she says Da! and it generally happens when he gets home from work.)
Uh-Oh - her all time favorite word.  She says it when she's doing something naughty, or when she drops or throws something on the floor.

Stats:
22.5 lbs, 30 inches long.  She was around the 75th percentile for height, weight and head circumference so she's starting to come down a little and her time at the top of the charts is coming to an end.
