Last night we headed out to the arboretum for a concert and a picnic dinner with friends. Thanks to Candace for planning it! The weather was absolutely perfect, and we all brought food to share, which was really fun. Jennifer made a giant sub sandwich, Candace made a frito salad and a really yummy lemon cake, and I took the easy way out and made guac and french onion dip with chips and carrots. Candace also made sangria and everyone seemed to enjoy it.
Emerald City played and we sat on our blankets and talked and watched the sun set over the lake. It was so nice that we hope to get in one more concert before the heat sets in, or at the very least get out with Baby Lily in the fall once it cools down.
