Christmas Tree Farm

In the interest of creating family traditions, Phil suggested we go to a Christmas tree farm this year and cut down our own tree. Well we discovered that the closest tree farms are about an hour away, but I decided to humor his romantic notions of trekking through a plot of land to find the perfect tree. And that we did! I'm not going to lie, I was a little beaten down upon our arrival. Lily was fussy, I had to take her back to the car and feed her after all of 15 minutes, and she kept fussing after that. It wasn't until after we got home and I realized how much floofier and puffy our tree looked than in past years. It's like going from a greyhound to an overweight husky dog. So although at first I wasn't too keen on this new tradition, I think that it is here to stay.
Totally sporting my Pi Phi colors.
Wearing her "tree hugger" onesie of course.

SO cute!! And I think it's hilarious that you pointed out the fact that you're wearing Pi Phi colors. I would have never noticed! ha.

What a fun day!

Represent! This is awesome! It kind of makes me want to go get a real tree...with the exception that Zach would kill me since our fake tree isn't that old :-P

Someday...

I love her tree hugger onesie!!! Too cute!!
