The Good China

We have friends, the Cislaghis, that have always used their nice china when we come over for dinner.  For the longest time after we were married, our china was packed away under our bed because we didn't have a cabinet for it.  Once we moved into our house and finally unpacked it, I decided that we should follow in the Cislaghis footsteps and use it anytime we had a semi nice (as in not pizza and kid free) meal.  Our friends Joseph and Bryce came over for dinner earlier this week, and I enjoyed setting a pretty table for us to enjoy.  We had a great time catching up with them, especially since Joseph moved to Boston and we only see him once or twice a year when he is home visiting family.

Sadly ours doesn't get enough use either. I think I may start "China Sunday" so it gets more use than sitting pretty in the china cabinet. I forgot we have the same china pattern! Love the piece of wood in the middle of the table also...where did you find that?

Your table scape looks fabulous. Semi-homemade Sandra Lee would be proud. :)

The Christmas tree plates are so cute where are they from? I'd love to have just holiday china if I could. Too cute!

I used mine for the first time ever at Thanksgiving. I had to dust them all off and take off price tags!
