My photography playgroup had a fun little get together last week. We normally focus on shooting the kids, but this time we decided to make food our subject. Of course the kids invariably make it into some of the pictures! We had a great time and it was nice to be able to take our time which you can't do when you are shooting a wild toddler. It was Carrie's birthday so I stopped by Sprinkles on my way out. It isn't often that you eat your subject when you are done shooting. :)

I love the font you used with your name. It gives it a very vintage, old-fashioned style. Very classy! Your pictures are great too! And... you have a photography mom's playgroup? I am so jealous!!! How did you find them?
Thanks! I really like that font, it is fun. :) My good friend Jennifer started it. She is an amazing photographer. Here is her blog http://www.jenniferstrainphoto.com/blog/
Anyway, it is a meetup group, and we have some really fun mamas in it. You could totally find a friend and start one yourself. If you decide to, I have some tips based on situations we've encountered along the way. It is really fun though and we go to lots of different places and have themed shoots like pajamas or hats and bows, sports, etc.
The chocolate cupcake at Sprinkles is by far my favorite! Delicious! Your picture made me want to drive to Sprinkles and get one.
